What are cookies?

Cookies are data created by a server that are stored in text files on the hard disk of the computer or on any device used by the user to access the Internet (smartphone, tablet) and allow the collection of information on the navigation performed by the user on the website and are retransmitted on subsequent visits.

Cookies are used for different purposes, have different characteristics, and can be used both by the owner of the site you are visiting and by third parties.

Cookies can be stored permanently on your computer and have a variable duration (so-called persistent cookies), but they can also disappear when the browser is closed or have a limited duration (so-called session cookies).

Cookies can be installed by the site you are visiting (so-called first-party cookies) or they can be installed from other websites (so-called third-party cookies).

Below you will find all the information on the cookies installed through this site, and the necessary information on how to manage your preferences regarding them.

What cookies are used on this site?

This site uses the following cookies:

Technical Cookies: to offer you a better browsing experience.

Profiling cookies: to provide you with targeted advertisements, in line with your browsing preferences.

Third-party cookies: which allow access to third-party services, through the use of information relating to certain actions performed by the user.

Cookies that do not require consent:

First party cookies

Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service "(see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).

They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the website owner or manager.

They can be divided into:

Functionality cookies

These are cookies that allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (such as language, text characters, browser type) in order to improve the service provided.

The prior consent of users is not required for the installation of these cookies.

Persistent cookies

Persistent cookies are small data files that the server sends to the user's browser when he accesses a website to let him access the requested pages and to monitor the pages visited.

We use persistent cookies to avoid showing the information banner on the use of cookies to the user who has read and accepted the use of cookies by pressing the "Accept" button and continuing to browse.

Analytics cookies

These cookies collect information on the number of users and how they visit the site, for example information on which pages or sections of pages are most viewed, and from which pages reports of malfunctions are received. The information is collected in an aggregate and anonymous form;

Navigation and session cookies

They are aimed at ensuring normal navigation and use of the site, using different options or services. These cookies allow, for example, to memorize the elements that characterize a specific request, make a purchase, subscribe to participation in an event.

Cookies that require consent:

All cookies other than the technical ones mentioned above are installed or activated only following the consent given by the user the first time they visit the site. Consent can be expressed in a general way, interacting with the brief information banner present on the landing page of the site, according to the methods indicated in this banner, or it can be provided or denied selectively, according to the methods indicated below. This consent is tracked on the occasion of subsequent visits. However, the user always has the option of revoking all or part of the consent already expressed.

Profiling cookies

Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the net. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices may have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express their valid consent.

They are referred to in art. 122 of the Code where it provides that "the storage of information in the terminal equipment of a contractor or a user or access to information already stored is permitted only on condition that the contractor or user has given his consent after being been informed with the simplified procedures referred to in article 13, paragraph 3 "(article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code).
